Understanding the difference between posttraumatic embitterment and posttraumatic stress. Identifying the manifestation of embitterment at work and the impact this adjustment dysfunction on relationships with colleagues.
This workshop is based on the research of Dr Barbara Louw on Posttraumatic Emitterment Reaction and the PTWM that she developed. Special attention will be given to “the root of the tree of bitterness” with reference to Hebrews 12:15.
The need for the pastoral voice and spiritual rootedness in the place of work, enabling employees and their families to deal with bitterness, injustice and deep-seated embitterment in the midst of a crisis of belief.
